A Yoga Nidra Journey

In this 90 minute workshop + guided Yoga Nidra you’ll learn how the benefits of this particular meditation style can radically affect your brain and body, healing you in unexpected ways.

Yoga Nidra, also known as Yogic Sleep, is a Non-Sleep-Deep-Rest guided meditation that allows the practitioner to rotate the awareness of consciousness throughout the body. Giving space for the brain to practice focusing and the body to sleep and heal.

A traditional meditation style can sometimes leave you feeling restless if you’re attempting to practice while the nervous system is moving through fight, flight, or freeze. Yoga Nidra gives space for the body to regulate the nervous system over time of a consistent practice.

You’ll learn how the benefits of this practice and the intention you set, will change your life in one way or another. This is a tool that you can put in your “healing practice toolkit”, one that you will refer back to for many years through many ebbs & flow of life.

YOU MIGHT ALSO LIKE - your favourite blanket or pillow; an eye covering to block out any light.

BRING WITH YOU: a journal and pen - we’ll spend a few minutes writing post meditation while we have tea.

Following the meditation, we’ll sit around with tea to have a Q&A or discussion about the experience.
